Prizes include beautiful wood dice towers, character mini vaults, and dice trays from Wyrmwood. During its talk show, Talks Machina, fan art of the week is featured and prizes awarded. Art is displayed during the brief intermission the players take in the middle of each episode. Critical Role presents fan art from its dedicated community before each weekly episode. Two members of the Critical Role cast, Liam O’Brien and Taliesin Jaffe, oversaw the production of both art books. The deluxe edition will also include a faux leather cover, ribbon bookmark, gold foil stamping, and a print of the cover art. Both will have 258 pages and include art from 96 different fan artists. So what do we know so far? Announced at GenCon 2018 and Critical Role’s website, the art book will feature a standard edition and a deluxe edition. This second book will wrap up the story of campaign one, and showcase art done by the fanbase. The first art book chronicled the first half of the story featuring artwork from the fans. The first campaign ended in October of 2017, and the second campaign started up the first of the year 2018. Featuring Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer and a cast of well-known voice actors as the players. This Dungeons and Dragons game is played live on Twitch.
